How To Retrive The Money That Is Transfered Via Neft To Wrong And Unknown Account?
I have a bank account in SBI. I wanted to transfer the money to my friends account. But due to typographical error, the said amount is transfered to wrong account number. I approached the bank and they are unable to help me. Hence i am seeking help. Can anyone suggest me what to do to retrive back the money
The bank should be able to help you. Find out from the bank which account it has been credited to. You can approch that person or account holder and explain and get back the money. But always be careful in NEFT transfers. Whenever I add a new beneficiary to the list of accounts, I always do a Re.1 transfer to that account as a test. Then I ask the other person to check whether they got my Re.1 and then only do the major money transfer.
