How Much Money Would I Save By Preparing Car Before Painting?
If I sand my car down to sheet metal, how much money would I save when I bring it to a shop so they can just paint it? Oppose to them having to sand it.

Substantial about half the cost of a decent paint job is prep. however most shops won’t paint someone Else’s prep. If you do it right you should be able to spray it yourself to as is takes far more work and patience to prep than spray. Good Luck Bro. best wishes Doug.
