How Much Money Do You Ususally Have To Keep In Your Savings Account?
I’m needing about $20 for my credit card bill. I give the money to my dad and he turns it in. He is very strict when it comes to responsibilty and I am short $20. I think I only have about $25 in my savings account (due to bad spending). (I am trying to change my ways and be more frugal). Will the bank make me keep a certain amount in my savings account and how much is it usually?
You really need to check with your bank. The bank that I have only requires 0.01 to be in there to stay open.
It depends on the bank and what type of account you have. If you only have $25 in there now then you would most likely be under any limit anyway, You will see service charges on your statements when you are under any required balance.
